This bright and spacious one bedroom suite sleeps 4 people with a queen bed in the bedroom and a comfortable pull out sofa in the living room. The owners occupy upstairs and are very accommodating. They have 1 friendly dog and cat that stay upstairs only. Shared use of laundry is available. Lots of windows that face southwest afford this suite good natural light and there's a view to Red Resort. This "Blackjack" area of Rossland provides good opportunity for woodland wildlife viewing: bears, deer, raccoons and outdoor enthusiasts. Kick back after a tough day next to the wood burning stove - with firewood included! This property is just a one minute drive from Black Jack Ski Club or 2 minutes to Red Mountain Resort. Can't beat that! |
Description This modern and spacious one bedroom suite is located at the edge of ski mountains, meadows and trees. 1000 metres from Red Mountain Resort, you can hop on the shuttle or simply walk to the lifts at Red Mountain Resort. For cross country skiing, take advantage of Black Jack ski club groomed trails just a few glides away, it couldn't be easier to access the miles of track. You have down hill and cross country skiing at your door step!
In the warmer months head out your front door to access some of the best mountain biking trails in the West Kootenays. Enjoy a nature walk or head to go for a stroll or hike. In the summer enjoy wildflowers, birds and wildlife viewing.
Black Jack Flats is situated on rural acreage and shares a driveway with the owners. Holly and David are your hosts and will be available to attend to you during your stay. No guest pets permitted but be advised that there are pets are living upstairs with owners, their German Shepard, Bailey, is a wonderful friendly dog and will be on this property in her fenced yard.
Minimum Stay Policy
4 night minimum stay Christmas holidays, 3 night minimum winter high season, 2 night minimum otherwise. If you see a 2 day window of opportunity between bookings on property calendar, please contact us!

Important Booking Information
As part of the booking process, we will require that you agree to and sign a copy of our Terms and Conditions.
Approximately 3 to 7 days prior to your arrival we will email you, via DocuSign, our Terms and Conditions to be signed electronically. You are also required to provide your credit card details for the purpose of pre-authorizing a hold of $1000. CDN as a Damage Deposit. The pre-authorization will commence on your day of arrival and automatically expire after check out and property inspection.
Provided that you have completed and signed the Terms and Conditions, you will receive an email approximately 3 days prior to your arrival with self check-In instructions to the property.
For Longer Term Bookings of 30 days or More ...
This will be require an Occupancy Agreement to be signed by Guests and an addition Property Condition Guarantee will be required to be paid, at the time of booking, by e-transfer or credit card (60% of monthly rental rate). Additional pet deposit required for pet friendly properties (approval required).
Cleaning fees charged for longer term stays go towards the departure clean at the end of your stay, additional cleaning charges may apply depending on the state of the property upon check out.
